The “Juvenil” and “Infantil” WOSPAC teams have played two friendly matches this afternoon against the Monaro Tigers from Australia.

The UE Bellvitge field hosted a fantastic afternoon where we saw a lot of soccer. In the first game which was played at 16h pm, the Youth WOSPAC team faced the combined Australian U18 team. Despite a very even start, with chances for both sides WOSPAC went ahead thanks to a goal from Tandasi after 30 min. The first half ended with this result.
In the second 45 minutes the WOSPAC team has continued with pressing and creating slowly, generating some danger, until a shot from outside the area from Kane made the 2-0. With this result the Australian team had to risk and paid a high price. 4 minutes later Miraash made the third and final goal. Undoubtedly, a very good game and well thought by the new coach Diego Morata. On the other hand, the “Infantil” WOSPAC team lost by 1-3 goals, despite of making things not that easy to for Tigers Monaro. The Morata Teams, led after 11 minutes, after a great play with Mulera scoring. The Australians, with a great physic did not give up and draw before finishing the first part. In the second half, despite the good work of the WOSPAC guys, good placement in the field and willingness to deal with the Australian team, physical fitness made the difference. And in today’s game, the difference meant losing the match.

It was a magnificent afternoon of soccer that left us incredible details of our players and especially many goals. Stage in Spain The Australian team is touring the Spanish geography over a week and had already faced some clubs in the area of Valencia, Benicassim and now Barcelona. Not only have they come to play soccer, but to enjoy soccer of the first division. The youngsters of Monaro Tigers saw the games Villarreal against Atletico Madrid and RCDE Espanyol Barcelona against Sporting Gijon live in the stadium. They still have a few days left in the city of Barcelona. We hope you enjoyed your sports stay and got a great memory of this magnificent experience. Good trip back to Australia!
