The MIC 2022 (Mediterranean International Cup) tournament left us with a spectacular experience. Great organization, soccer, fun and spring weather were some of the ingredients of this edition of the MIC.
In addition, one of the great memories that this edition leaves us are the great matches played by our U-16, U-18 and U-20 teams, the latter two against Valencia CF and Villarreal CF.
The first of them, which was played in Caldes de Malavella, pitted Wospac U-18 against Valencia CF, a match in which our boys did their best and managed to hold the tie on the scoreboard until almost the final stretch of the game, when Valencia showed their powerful level and scored.

That same day in the afternoon, in Cassà de la Selva, Wospac U-20 faced Villarreal CF, in another of the attractive matches of the tournament. The team came out very focused from the first minute and, despite suffering the goalkeeper’s injury in the first minutes, played a great game and competed against a high level rival.

In this report published on 27 April 2022, WOSPAC looked back on the effort of its teams against Valencia CF and Villarreal CF at MIC 2022. It also referred to a match against FC Barcelona in an earlier edition. The account celebrated the players’ work and the experience of competing with other teams.
Congratulations in the original report belonged to those teams and that tournament. This historical account does not announce a current fixture, open invitation or club partnership.

Questions about the April 2022 match report
Which WOSPAC opponents and age groups does the April 2022 report describe?
It describes WOSPAC U18 against Valencia CF in Caldes de Malavella and WOSPAC U20 against Villarreal CF in Cassà de la Selva during MIC 2022. The wider account also mentions WOSPAC U16 participation.
Does the account provide final scores for the two matches?
The text describes aspects of the games and the teams’ performances but does not give complete final scores. Exact results or later outcomes should not be inferred from that narrative.
Does facing Valencia or Villarreal establish a current partnership?
A reported tournament opponent is not evidence of a current partnership, recruitment arrangement or future fixture. Any present agreement or activity requires separate confirmation.
Do all eight photographs show the same opponents or edition?
No such assumption should be made. The available views include red-and-black and black-and-yellow action, plus a separate pennant photograph with Barça branding. A photograph alone does not establish its date, a player’s identity or an injury.
