WOSPAC Academy is proud to announce that one of its standout players, Viraj Chahal, has been selected to represent the Uttar Pradesh Junior Football Team. This achievement marks a significant milestone in his football journey.
Spotlight on the Trials
The football trials, organized under the Uttar Pradesh Football Association, concluded on Sunday at Subharti University, Meerut, with 225 players from 15 states competing for selection. The trials were part of preparations for the National U-19 (Junior Boys) Football Championship to be held in, Madhya Pradesh from July 26 to August 5.
Key selectors included:
– Lalit Pant
– Arif Najmi
– Billu Chauhan
– Ramchandra
– Mohammad Shahid (General Secretary, UP Football Association)
Players were evaluated on physical ability, skill execution, game sense, and tactical awareness.
Performance & Selection
Among the selected 25 players, Viraj Chahal stood out due to his athleticism, decision-making, and on-field intelligence—skills sharpened through years of training in Spain with WOSPAC.

The WOSPAC Effect
Viraj moved from India to join WOSPAC several years ago, immersing himself in a professional European football environment. He trained under UEFA-certified coaches, played in Spanish, and embraced WOSPAC’s methodology, which emphasizes holistic development—technical, tactical, psychological, and academic.
His performance at the Meerut trials is a testament to the effectiveness of this approach, and shows how international training can give players a competitive edge.

Inspiration for the Next Generation
“Viraj demonstrated the kind of dedication and skill that spot everything we look for in a player,” said a WOSPAC spokesperson. “His achievement proves our commitment to world-class player development.”
Viraj’s reported selection offers one example of a player’s progress; opportunities and later outcomes depend on individual circumstances and separate selection.
